    ESG Self-Assessment

Understand how relevant ESG and CSRD reporting may be for your company

ESG requirements affect companies in different ways depending on their size, structure, industry, and role in the value chain. This short self-assessment helps you estimate how relevant ESG reporting and CSRD-related topics may be for your organization.

    The test is:

    quick and non-binding
    based on high-level criteria
    intended for internal orientation only

It does not provide legal advice and does not determine formal CSRD obligations.

What this test helps you understand

By answering a few structured questions, you will get a clearer picture of:

whether ESG reporting is likely to be high, medium, or low relevance for your company

which areas of ESG may require attention (environmental, social, governance)

whether your company is more likely to be:

    • directly affected
    • indirectly affected (e.g. via customers or supply chains)
    • or currently outside the main scope

    Who this test is for

    This self-assessment is designed for:

    Finance and Controlling teams
    Operations and Quality managers
    ESG / Sustainability coordinators
    Company management and decision-makers

It is especially useful if you are:

    • unsure whether ESG reporting applies to you
    • receiving ESG data requests from customers
    • preparing internally before engaging advisors

    How the test works

The assessment is based on high-level indicators, such as:

    • company size and structure
    • industry and operational footprint
    • number of employees and locations
    • role in the value chain (e.g. supplier vs. reporting entity)
    • existing internal data availability

You answer a series of short questions. Based on your answers, the test provides a general relevance indication.

What you will get at the end

After completing the test, you will see:

    1
an ESG relevance level (indicative only)
    2
a short explanation of what this level means
    3
suggested next steps for internal preparation
    4
a recommendation on whether a structured ESG data tool may be useful — and which path (CSRD / value-chain / proactive VSME) fits your case.
No data is published or shared.

Ready to check where your company stands?

The test takes only a few minutes and can help you decide whether and how to approach ESG internally.

This assessment reflects CSRD requirements as amended by the Omnibus I Directive (EU) 2026/470, in force since 18 March 2026. For binding legal advice, consult a qualified sustainability advisor.
